Integrate with Trimble TMW TruckMate

Enable customers to manage their fleet and driver dispatch in Trimble's TMW TruckMate.

This integration is owned and managed by FreightLogics, a third-party System Integrator on the Samsara Experts Marketplace. There is a deployment fee and monthly fee for this integration.

The integration includes the following features:

• See driver HOS information in TruckMate

• See Vehicle/Trailer GPS positions in TruckMate

• See Trailer sensor data in TruckMate to asses that operations are running smoothly

• Two-way messaging between dispatchers in TruckMate and drivers using the Samsara Driver App

• Send loads (known as routes in Samsara) from TruckMate to Samsara

• Receive updates from those load completions in TruckMate via Samsara route stop arrival/departures and Samsara document submissions (macro/form submissions in TruckMate)

Requirements

• TruckMate:

  • TruckMate version 19.2 (for best user experience, version 20.1 or later is recommended)

  • TruckMate SOAP API License

  • TruckMate Mobilecomm License

  • Either Truckload Dispatch or Multi-mode Dispatch in TruckMate

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read scope

• FreightLogics: FreightLogics subscription agreement

FreightLogics, a third-party developer on the Samsara Experts Marketplace, built this integration and handles installation. To inquire about getting the integration, follow these steps:

1. Reach out to FreightLogics to discuss deployment process/timing/quote to set up the integration: email [e-mail] or complete the contact form on their site

2. Contact your Trimble representative to obtain the appropriate TruckMate licenses and software version.

3. Create a Read Samsara API Token named TruckMate Integration with read scopes for the specific categories required for the integration.

   If you aren't sure which scopes are required, check with your FreightLogics representative.

4. Send the token to your FreightLogics representative.

   FreightLogics will facilitate the install, configure the account, and set up dispatch workflow implementation.
