Integrate with Axis TMS

Sync vehicle current location and driver HOS with Axis TMS.

The integration includes the following features:

• Show current location data for trucks and trailers in Axis

• Sync current driver hours of service (HOS) data from Samsara

Requirements

• Axis: Trial or active account with Axis TMS

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read and write scopes

Deployment

Axis built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please contact Axis Support.

1. Create a Samsara API Token named Axis Integration with the following granular scopes:

   • Compliance: Read ELD Compliance Settings (US)

   • Vehicles:

     • Read Vehicles

     • Write Vehicles

     • Read Vehicle Statistics

     • Write Vehicle Statistics

   For more information on creating an API token, see Get Started with the Samsara API.

2. Log into your Axis account and navigate to Settings > Add-On Modules.

3. Enter your Samsara API Token and Group ID.
