Integrate with Axon TMS

Integrate real-time asset GPS location information and hours of service (HOS) activity directly into Axon TMS.

The integration includes the following features:

• Collect real-time GPS data to stay on top of tracking active order progress with arrival and departure updates created in Axon

• Automated, timely retrieval of integrated driver hours of service (HOS) activity

• See your fleet’s latest imports of equipment location messages

Requirements

• Axon: None

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read and write scopes

Deployment

Axon built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please contact Axon Support.

1. Create a Samsara API Token named Axon Integration with the following granular scopes:

   • Compliance: Write ELD Compliance Settings (US)

   • Drivers: Read Drivers

   • Vehicles: Read Vehicle Statistics

   For more information on creating an API token, see Get Started with the Samsara API.

2. Send the token to your Axon representative and request the Samsara integration.

   Axon Support will configure the account and guide you through any remaining steps to enable the integration.
