Integrate with Magnus Tech TMS

Integrate real-time asset location information and hours of service (HOS) for fleet management with Magnus TMS.

The integration includes the following features:

• Location based information for trucks and trailers

• Real-time driver HOS sync

• Auto-sync new trucks, trailers, and drivers

• Summary statistics for historical HOS and exception management for assigned assets vs actual assets and/or safety considerations

Requirements

• Magnus TMS: None

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read scope

Deployment

Magnus Tech built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please contact Magnus Tech Support.

1. Create a Read Samsara API Token named Magnus Tech Integration with read scopes for the specific categories required for the integration.

   If you aren't sure which scopes are required, check with your Magnus Tech representative.

   For more information on creating an API token, see Get Started with the Samsara API.

2. Send the token to your Magnus Tech Integration/Deployment Lead and request the Samsara integration.

   Magnus Tech will configure the account.
