Integrate with Encompass Technologies

Sync GPS, HOS, engine data, vehicle events and safety events with the Encompass platform for fleet management.

The integration includes the following features:

• Fleet visibility with GPS sync

• Samsara trips synced for reference and asset usage analysis

• Fault code sync for vehicle status alerts

• Safety data sync for driver scoring and reporting features

• Harsh event data sync

Requirements

• Encompass: Encompass v20.01 or higher

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read scope

Deployment

Encompass Technologies built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please contact Encompass Support.

1. Create a Read Samsara API Token named Encompass Integration with the following granular scopes:

   • Maintenance: Read DVIRs

   • Safety & Cameras: Read Safety Events & Scores

   • Vehicles:

     • Read Vehicles

     • Read Vehicle Statistics

     • Read Vehicle Trips

2. Send the token to [e-mail] and request the Samsara integration.

   Encompass Technologies Support will configure the account and guide you through any remaining steps to enable the integration.
