Integrate with SmartBoard TMS

Sync vehicle current location and driver HOS with SmartBoard’s transportation software.

More about this integration:

Drivers Hours of Service (HOS) and vehicle GPS locations from Samsara are synced with SmartBoard TMS, enabling dispatchers to plan driver trips and determine what load to book next (based on driver hours) and to monitor if drivers will arrive on time at a pick up/delivery location.

• SmartBoard: None

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read scope

Deployment

SmartBoard built the integration and handles customer deployments. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please contact Smartboard Support.

1. Create a Read Samsara API Token named SmartBoard Integration with the following granular scopes:

   • Compliance: Read ELD Compliance Settings (US)

   • Drivers: Read Drivers

   • Vehicles:

     • Read Vehicles

     • Read Vehicle Statistics

2. Send the token to [e-mail] and request the Samsara integration.

   Smartboard Support will configure the account and guide you through any remaining steps to enable the integration.
