Integrate with Trimble Innovative TMS

Use Trimble’s Innovative TMS with Samsara to sync vehicles, drivers, hours of service (HOS) and addresses, send routes, and receive job updates, get completed docs, and use two-way messaging for an integrated dispatch workflow.

The integration includes the following features:

Requirements

• Innovative TMS:

  • Innovative version 20.4 or a more recent version

  • Trimble mobilecomm license

  • For Innovative Premise (on-prem), you will also need IBM Operating Level 7.3 (not applicable for SaaS customers)

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read scope

Deployment

Trimble Innovative built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please contact Trimble Innovative Professional Services.

1. Create a Read Samsara API Token named Trimble Innovative Integration with read scopes for the specific categories required for the integration. If you aren't sure which scopes are required, check with your Trimble Innovative representative.

2. Send the token to your Trimble Innovative Professional Services representative and request the Samsara integration.

   Trimble Innovative Professional Services will configure the account.
