Samsara enables you to connect your Komatsu powered equipment to the Samsara dashboard. By connecting your Komtrax account, Samsara can pull location and engine hours for your powered equipment.

Before you get started with this integration, contact your Samsara account representative or email sales@samsara.com.

Navigate to Settings > Apps.

Search for and then click Komatsu.

Enter your Komtrax API credentials.
Note
These credentials are distinct from your Komtrax login credentials.
If you do not have API credentials, email KOMTRAX@komatsuna.com and cc dev-oem@samsara.com with the following details:
Subject: Komtrax API Credentials for Samsara Integration Body: Hello - I would like to get Komtrax API credentials to import my Komatsu data into Samsara.

Select all pieces of equipment that you want to sync between Samsara and Komtrax and then click Activate Devices.
Activation can take up to 30 minutes to sync between the two systems initially.
Samsara will be poll Komatsu information every 15 mins or whenever available.

Repeat the preceding step if you later need to add more Komtrax equipment to your Samsara account.
