Integrate with Volvo CareTrack

Samsara enables you to connect your Volvo powered construction equipment to the Samsara dashboard. By connecting your Volvo CareTrack account, Samsara can pull location and engine hours for your powered equipment.

Requirements

• Volvo: Volvo CareTrack subscription

• Samsara: None

Deployment

1. Before you get started with this integration, contact your Samsara account representative or email [e-mail].

2. Navigate to Settings > Apps.

3. Search for and click on Volvo CareTrack.

4. Enter your Volvo CareTrack API credentials.

   Note

   If you do not have API credentials, email your dealer and cc [e-mail] with the following details:

   Subject: Volvo CareTrack API Credentials for Samsara Integration
   Body: Hello - I would like to get Volvo CareTrack API credentials to import my Volvo construction equipment data into Samsara
   

5. Select all pieces of equipment that you want to sync between Samsara and Volvo CareTrack and then click Activate Devices.

   Activation can take up to 30 minutes to sync between the two systems initially.

   Samsara will be poll Volvo CareTrack information every hour or whenever available.

6. Repeat the preceding step if you later need to add more Volvo CareTrack equipment to your Samsara account.
