Samsara offers device support for Driver App Supported Devices. Occasionally, app support ends for prior app versions and device operating systems (OSs) on these devices. The following list details the upcoming EOL schedules.
Access to the Samsara Driver App ended for all Android 4.XX versions on May 31, 2021. After this date, drivers will be unable to sign in to Samsara Driver App on any device that runs a version older than Android 5. Android 4.XX has never been officially supported by Samsara, and Google ended support for the operating system in 2018.
Access to the Samsara Driver App ended for all iOS 10.X versions on August 2, 2021. After this date, drivers will be unable to sign in to the Samsara Driver App on any device that runs a version older than iOS 11. Apple no longer supports iOS 11.
iOS devices running versions older than 12.2 will no longer receive app updates as of July 10, 2023. Devices that already have older versions of the Samsara Driver App installed will still be able to use the app, but will no longer receive important enhancements and bug fixes.
Access to Samsara Driver App versions prior to 1.9.5550 ended on November 14, 2021. After this date, drivers will be unable to sign in to the Samsara Driver App on any devices that run versions prior to version 1.9.5550.
