In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to help our customers improve sanitation across their fleets, given how many people could come into contact with their assets.
Currently, our custom DVIR templates allow our customers to create custom templates and defects. You can now enable a new setting to assist Fleet Administrators in improving sanitation awareness and quality of their fleets. This setting is titled: Enable Sanitization Tracking in DVIRs.
To enable this setting for your organization:
1. Open up your dashboard overview page, navigate to the left hand column and select Settings
2. From the Settings page, scroll down to the Driver App section > DVIR.
3. Scroll down to the Enable Sanitization Tracking in DVIRs and turn that toggle on.
- A sub-setting will be available when this setting is toggled on, the sub-setting will automatically add the sanitization defect to all post-trip DVIRs.
Once turned on, the feature will add the “defect” checkbox titled Vehicle Needs Sanitizing under the “other” category of all DVIR templates.
Drivers will need to select the defect while filling out DVIRs on their mobile devices if the sub-setting is turned off. If the subsetting is turned on, this defect will be automatically be inserted into all post-trip DVIRs, available for viewing on the cloud dashboard.
Fleet administrators can keep track of sanitization status through the Sanitation Field in the DVIR dashboard report page.
Here, you can also filter by "sanitation status" by selecting the “Defects” dropdown.
