Co-Location Report

Within your fleet, you may employ supervisors (also referred to as general foremen, or GF in reports) who are responsible for a work crews training, management, safety, and performance. If needed, you can monitor the events during which your supervisors are co-located with their groups of drivers, based on tag and proximity.

The Co-Location report (Reports > Co-Location Report) compares actual co-location time spent (by tagged supervisor) versus a specified goal. Each co-location event is defined as an instance of a correctly tagged vehicle being stopped with one or more other vehicles within its co-location radius. Vehicles can move within the geofence after this event triggers and still be considered co-located until exiting the geofence.

Before you can use the report, you must first satisfy the following prerequisites:

• Set up the areas where Supervisors and Crews are co-locating as geofences in the address book. The Co-Location report shows up blank when Supervisors and Crews co-locate at an address or location that has not already been added to the address book.

• Configure settings for generating either scheduled or historical co-location reports. The report prompts you to enter the appropriate settings on first visit. After the initial report creation, the report will automatically fill fields such as for supervisors, crews, and all of the Advanced tab based on the default settings for you organization.

The Co-Location report is divided into the following three sub-reports which are each available for download in comma-separated values (CSV) format:

• Summary by Supervisor: A top-level rollup of Supervisor showups (co-location events with an supervisor-tagged individual present) with actual time spent, goal time spent, and the difference between these.

• Daily Summary: Daily aggregated breakdowns of co-location events (organized by Supervisor), showing co-location goal vs. time spent.

• Complete Listing: A raw table (with no time calculations or goals) of all co-location events, activities traveling to/from a co-location event.

Note

The Dashboard and CSV export are not real-time; They are scheduled reports that require upfront configuration. After the configuration is set, future reports will use those settings as defaults if no further changes (to tags, time, or other parameters) are needed.
