To ensure that the scheduled arrival and departure data in Route Reports is as accurate as possible, you can edit any completed, in-process, or scheduled route to reflect changes to the trip or the route. For traceability, you can also Review the Stop Audit Log.
To edit arrival or departure trip details or to assign a driver or vehicle to a route, see Edit Trip Details. To edit the scheduled route details, see Edit a Planned Route.
To edit the trip details or to manually indicate a route stop as completed, you can edit the route Arrived At and Departed At details from the trip schedule:

Navigate to Dispatch ( ) > Routes.

Locate the route from the list.
Narrow the scope of the results using the date selector at the top of the Routes report or by selecting tags.

Select the route to view the trip details.

To edit a specific stop, continue to the next step. To edit multiple stops or to assign the route to a driver or vehicle, select More Actions > Edit. After you make the alteration to the route, Save Changes to confirm the change.

Select the stop from the route and click View more details.

From the route Schedule, click Edit.

Edit the Arrived At or Departed At details and provide Remarks for the edit (optional).
After you provide an arrival and departure time for a
Skipped
stop, the stop automatically updates toCompleted
. -
Save to confirm the changes.
If the planned route arrival or departure time changes, you can edit the route details to ensure accurate data in the Planned vs Actual Route Report. To edit a route stop in the Samsara dashboard, perform the following workflow:

Navigate to Dispatch ( ) > Routes.

Locate the route from the list.
Narrow the scope of the results using the date selector at the top of the Routes report or by selecting tags.

Select the more actions menu ( ... ) > Edit on the route to navigate directly to the Edit Route page.

Edit the route details.

Save Changes to confirm the route edits.
Any change to the arrival status of a stop on a route, such as skipped or arrived, is logged in the route stop Audit Logs. This includes changes that are manually updated by the driver or fleet administrator or automatically detected by GPS location. The route stop Audit Logs provide a timeline of each status update so that you can monitor and review the timeline of any status changes.
For each status change, the Audit Logs display the following information:

To view the Audit Log for a route stop:

Navigate to Dispatch ( ) > Routes.

Locate the route from the list.
Narrow the scope of the results using the date selector at the top of the Routes report or by selecting tags.

Select the route to view the trip details.

Select the stop from the route and click View more details.
The stop detail displays the Audit Logs below the Schedule details and Location map.
