If you have a Samsara CM-series Dash Cam installed in your vehicle, any harsh event that's detected will trigger the upload of the safety event video to your Safety Inbox. After you review the video, you can assign a status to the event to indicate the followup action. Samsara automatically determines the impact to the safety score based on the event status that you assign and any applied Safety Event Labels.

Frequently assigning events, such as auto-detected Rolling Stops, with a Dismissed status does not immediately affect the behavior of the AI Dash Cam system; however, this feedback is used to improve our AI algorithms over time.
When a safety label is applied to a safety event, the status of the safety event will determine any impact to the safety score. The event status also determines where the event will display in the Safety Inbox.
