As part of your driver safety program, you can review driver speeds as they relate to specific trips. If speeding is permitted, such as speeding associated with ambulances or police vehicles, or if you suspect Samsara has recorded an incorrect value, you can dismiss or excuse speeding events to omit the event from the driver safety score. If you excused a driver speeding event by accident, you also have the option to undo, or Unexcuse, the excused event, and the speeding event will be included again.
Dismissed speeding events will remain in the Safety Dashboard; however, the event does not impact the driver safety score. When unexcused, the speeding event will impact the driver safety score.
