Note
This report is only available to customers in Europe.
The purpose of the Unassigned Driving Report is to track one of the most common tachograph infringements: driving without inserting a tachograph card. The report provides an overview of all vehicles that were driven without a card for the selected dates, including number of trip segments, cumulative time and distance with ‘unassigned’ status. It is also possible to search for the required vehicle.
The report is based on the vehicle file data, that is downloaded approximately once per week.
To access the report, go to Reports and within Driver Compliance, select Unassigned Driving. You can also go to Compliance > Unassigned Driving.
These records in the report are based on vehicle tachograph downloads. Vehicle tachograph downloads are triggered every week (provided that the vehicle was on at some point after the download was due).
You can select a specific vehicle to investigate further:
From there, you can click on the trip, which will take you to the Vehicle page with that trip segment highlighted to get additional context.
Note
There may be a discrepancy between trip segments on this report and Vehicle page. Unassigned driving report trips are based on tachograph data, Vehicle page trips are based on our standard logic across the platform (driving > 5km/h).
To annotate trip segment details for future reference and audits, click the Annotate button.
Annotated segments appear in the Annotated tab of the report. If an annotation is deleted, the trip segment returns to the Unassigned tab of the report. All annotated trip segments may be printed out for external use.
The report could be used in conjunction with the unassigned driving (tachograph) alert:
