HOS Audit Transfer Report

The HOS Audit Transfer Report enables you to view the status of HOS Audit transfers. For information on how to submit an in-house audit log transfer, see in-house audit.

To access the report, select Compliance > HOS Audit Transfer.

The report displays the following information for each audit log.

Field	Description
Requested At	Time that the data file transfer was initiated.
Status	The status column shows the success/failure status of the transfer: Pending: This indicates that the data file transfer is currently in progress and has yet to succeed or fail. Accepted: The data file has been generated and successfully sent to and accepted by the FMCSA with no errors or warnings. Accepted with Warning: If a data file is sent to the FMCSA missing non-essential fields, it may be accepted with warnings. The data file does not need to be retransmitted, however, please consult the warning message and update any missing information if possible in order to have a more complete data file for future transfers. Rejected with Errors: If a datafile is rejected because of errors, it means the FMCSA has deemed it to be missing critical information or to be misformatted. Consult the error message to see if this information can be potentially filled in and the datafile transfer reattempted. Otherwise, contact customer support for further assistance. Failed: The datafile has either failed to be generated or the transmission process to the FMCSA has failed. Customers should contact Customer Support for further assistance if this occurs.
Driver	The name of the driver whose log was requested.
Dates Requested	The date range requested for the transfer.
Comment	The comment supplied by an admin or driver at the time the transfer was initiated. This field can be used to double-check that comment was entered correctly if an officer is failing to find a data file that seems to have transferred successfully.
Requested By	Method of transmission selected by the driver, either Email or Wireless Webservices.

Note

After a transfer has been initiated, its status can be viewed in the HOS Audit Transfer report. This report will only show information about transfers from February 2020 onwards.
