Integrate with SambaSafety

Synchronize Samsara telematics data with SambaSafety’s industry leading driver risk management solutions to easily access, analyze and take action on risk.

The integration includes the following features:

• Sync vehicle trip data and any corresponding safety events, along with driver data, for fleet safety management in SambaSafety’s dashboard

• Enable 360-degree view of incidents in SambaSafety, with simplified access to all relevant data sources

• Create intuitive alerts based on high-risk events, design recommended training based on driver performance, and set driver benchmarking

Requirements

• SambaSafety: An active SambaSafety subscription is required. To connect with your SambaSafety Account Manager or to learn more, email [e-mail] or visit sambasafety.com/samsara.

• Samsara: API access with Read permissions

Deployment

SambaSafety built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. If there are any issues, please contact SambaSafety Support.

1. Email SambaSafety ([e-mail]) to request the Samsara integration.

   SambaSafety will be in contact to request your API token via a secure method.

2. After SambaSafety enables the integration, create and share the Samsara API token with SambaSafety:

   1. In the Samsara dashboard, navigate to Settings > Apps.

   2. Search for SambaSafety and then click the Install button.

   3. Review and agree to the data sharing terms and click Generate Token.

      Samsara generates an access token that you can copy to the clipboard.

   4. Send the API token to SambaSafety using SambaSafety's preferred secure method.
