Integrate with CSI Road

Dispatch routes and view real time driver locations in CSI Road; log HOS, send messages to drivers, and retrieve driver-submitted docs and DVIRs in CSI through Samsara platform sync.

The integration includes the following features:

• Dispatch routes from CSI to driver on the Samsara Driver App

• View real time vehicle GPS locations in CSI

• Sync driver HOS

• Send messages to drivers

• Retrieve driver-submitted documents and DVIR in CSI

Requirements

• CSI Road: CSI Road Dispatch package for dispatching

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read and write scopes

Deployment

CSI built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please contact CSI Support.

1. Create a Samsara API Token named CSI Road Integration with the following granular scopes:

   • Addresses:

     • Read Addresses

     • Write Addresses

   • Compliance:

     • Write ELD Compliance Settings (US)

   • Driver Workflow:

     • Write Messages

     • Write Routes

   • Drivers:

     • Read Documents

     • Write Drivers

   • Maintenance:

     • Read DVIRs

   • Vehicles:

     • Write Vehicles

     • Write Vehicle Statistics

2. Send the token to your CSI Road representative and request the Samsara integration.

   CSI Road Support will configure the account.
