Samsara computes an EV battery health metric for your vehicles, based on your charging history, to identify whether your electric vehicles are running at the manufacturer-stated capacity or experiencing battery degradation such as due to weather or wear. You can find this information in the vehicle diagnostics section of the dashboard.
For Samsara to accurately calculate the battery health algorithm, the following conditions must be true:
The vehicle must be a model supported by Samsara.
The vehicle has gone through a half charge cycle (ex. 50% to 100%) in the past week.
