Enable Exemptions for Drivers – Samsara Development Sandbox

There are three ways you can enable driving exemptions:

Enable Exemptions for a Specific Driver

Select the Settings icon ( ) at the bottom of your Fleet menu to view dashboard settings.
Select Organization > Drivers.
Locate the driver for which you want to configure the Exemption.
In the row for the driver, select ( ... ) > Edit.
In the Exemptions section of the driver profile, enable the exemption for the relevant regions.
Save your changes.

Select the Settings icon ( ) at the bottom of your Fleet menu to view dashboard settings.
Select Organization > Drivers.
From the More Actions menu, Download CSV. Samsara creates a CSV file containing all drivers and driver profile settings.
Locate the Exemption and edit the CSV file to set the specific driving exemption fields to TRUE for the relevant drivers and then save the file.
On the Drivers page, select More Actions > Upload CSV.
Upload your CSV file.
Preview and then Confirm the changes.
