Integrate with Point of Rental by XDS

Monitor assets in Point of Rental by syncing Samsara AEMP data for both powered and unpowered gateways.

This integration enables Point of Rental users to see asset location (GPS), operating hours, fuel level, last reading date and time, and more.

• Point of Rental: AEMP GPS setup in Point of Rental (XDS will provide guidance)

• XDS: Executed SOW with XDS and subscription license agreement

• Samsara: API access with Read permissions

Deployment

Xenolytics Data Solutions (XDS) built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. If there are any issues, please contact XDS Support.

1. In your Samsara dashboard, navigate to Settings > Apps.

2. Search for and then select Point of Rental to install the app.

   Samsara generates an API token with the appropriate scopes.

3. Send the Samsara API token to XDS Support ([e-mail]) and request the Samsara – Point of Rental integration.

   XDS will provide guidance about how to configure a new AEMP GPS setup in Point of Rental.
