Integrate with FourKites

Samsara provides the ability to integrate with FourKites. The integration pulls in Samsara GPS information so that your shippers and 3PLs have visibility into your fleet location.

Requirements

• FourKitesNone

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read and write scopes

Deployment

FourKites built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please contact FourKites Support.

1. Create a Read Samsara API Token named FourKites Integration with the following granular scopes:

   • Equipment:

     • Read Equipment

     • Read Equipment Statistics

   • Sensors: Write Sensors

   • Vehicles: Read Vehicle Statistics

   For more information on creating an API token, see Get Started with the Samsara API.

2. Send the token to your FourKites representative and request the Samsara integration.

   FourKites Support will configure the account and guide you through any remaining steps to enable the integration.
