Integrate with Descartes MacroPoint

Samsara provides the ability to integrate with Descartes Macropoint. The integration pulls in Samsara GPS information so that shippers and 3PLs have visibility into your fleet's location.

Requirements

• Descartes MacroPoint: None

• Samsara: API access with Read permissions

Deployment

Descartes MacroPoint built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please contact Descartes MacroPoint Support.

1. Reach out to your Descartes MacroPoint representative and request the Samsara integration.

   If you don’t have a representative, email [e-mail].

   Descartes will initiate the process to enable location data sharing.

2. When prompted, enter your Samsara login information to authorize data access for Descartes MacroPoint.
