Integrate with Descartes SmartAnalysis

This integration eliminates the need for fleet manager to download all driver/ vehicle files in Samsara and manually upload them again in Descartes SmartAnalysis.

Requirements

• Descartes SmartAnalysis: SmartAnalysis is only available in the UK and Europe.

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read scope

Deployment

1. Create a Read Samsara API Token named Descartes SmartAnalysis Integration with read scopes for the specific categories required for the integration. If you aren't sure which scopes are required, check with your Descartes representative.

   For more information on creating an API token, see Get Started with the Samsara API.

2. Send the token to Descartes Service Desk ([e-mail]) and request the integration between SmartAnalysis and Samsara be enabled.

   Descartes Support will configure the account. After the account is set up, you will start to receive tachograph files automatically in SmartAnalysis.
