Integrate with FreightVerify

FreightVerify's integration with Samsara consumes GPS location for tractors and trailers assigned to GM or Ford shipments for total supply chain visibility through the FreightVerify platform.

Requirements

• FreightVerify: None

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read scope

Deployment

FreightVerify built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please contact FreightVerify Support.

1. Create a Read Samsara API Token named FreightVerify Integration with the following granular scopes:

   • Vehicles: Read Vehicle Statistics

   • Trailers: Read Trailers Statistics

   For more information on creating an API token, see Get Started with the Samsara API.

2. Send the Samsara API Token to Brian Duby at FreightVerify (517-861-0495 or [e-mail]).

   Brian will configure vehicle and trailers tracking in the FreightVerify platform for shared shipper customers (Ford, GM, or others).
