Integrate with Highway

Highway helps connect Samsara carriers to freight brokers during the onboarding process to verify carrier identity and compliance.

The integration includes the following features:

• Verify their physical assets to the broker

• Instantly connect their ELD device to the broker’s digital Track and Trace ecosystem

Requirements

• Highway: None

• Samsara: API access with Read permissions

Deployment

Highway built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please contact Highway Support.

1. In your Samsara dashboard, navigate to Settings > Apps.

2. Search for and then select Highway to install the app.

3. Complete the Highway onboarding flow at the request of a shipper planning to have them carry a load.

   

   During this process you will supply and verify information about your business.

4. Connect your ELD / GPS solution.

   

   1. When you get to the Integrations step, select Samsara.

   2. When prompted, enter your Samsara login information and Allow access for Highway (Read access is required).

   3. You will be redirected back to Highway to complete the carrier onboarding flow.

   4. Save & Continue.
