Integrate with Motorcity RELAY

Improve the driver/dispatcher experience and increase productivity by integrating Samara ELD data into RELAY’s real-time communications platform.

The integration includes the following features:

• See driver HOS, duty status and map location within the RELAY messaging app

• Communication app contains driver info, load info, and messages

• Contextual search and group messaging capabilities increase visibility across the organization

Requirements

• Motorcity: None

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read scope

Deployment

Motorcity built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. If there are any issues, please contact Motorcity Support.

1. Create a Read Samsara API Token named RELAY Integration with the following granular scopes:

   • Compliance: Read ELD Compliance Settings (US)

   • Driver Workflow: Read Messages

   • Vehicles: Read Vehicle Statistics

   For more information on creating an API token, see Get Started with the Samsara API.

2. Send the token to Motorcity at [e-mail] and request the Samsara integration.

   Motorcity Support will configure the account.
