Integrate with McLeod DocumentPower

Enable retrieval of important Samsara custom documents submitted by drivers using McLeod’s imaging solution (for example, retrieve process documents for billing reasons).

Note

This integration is owned and managed by FreightLogics, a third-party System Integrator on the Samsara Experts Marketplace. There is a deployment fee and annual fee for this integration.

The integration includes the following features:

• Retrieve Samsara documents as Samsara document PDFs and send them to McLeod DocumentPower for indexing

• View those documents (and the associated images) in black and white in DocumentPower

Requirements

• FreightLogics: FreightLogics subscription agreement

• McLeod DocumentPower: Third-party Image Capture software license

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read and write scopes

Deployment

FreightLogics built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please contact FreightLogics Support.

1. Reach out to your McLeod rep to request the Samsara - DocumentPower integration.

   Complete any license requirements prior to implementation.

2. Create a Samsara API Token named McLeod DocumentPower Integration with the following granular scopes in the Driver Workflow category:

   • Read Documents

   • Read Routes

   • Write Documents

3. Send the token to your FreightLogics representative and request the Samsara integration.

   FreightLogics Support will configure the account.
