Integrate with HDVI insurance

Connect Samsara data to take advantage of HDVI’s dynamically priced insurance products based on real-time data that feeds up-to-date risk models, to decrease premiums within your policy term.

This integration includes the following features:

• Dynamically priced insurance: reduced premiums for safe driving

• Proprietary risk models based on real time telematics data

• driver Rewards: HDVI rewards drivers for safe driving

• driver+: HDVI’s driver engagement app

Requirements

• HDVI: None

• Samsara: API access with Read permissions

Deployment

You will need to provide a Samsara API Token to HDVI and add an HDVI administrator account as a Read-only Admin to your Samsara dashboard. If you do not have a main HDVI contact to whom you can send the API token, contact [e-mail].

1. In your Samsara dashboard, navigate to Settings > Apps.

2. Search for and then select HDVI to install the app.

   Samsara generates an API token with the appropriate scopes.

3. Send the token to your HDVI representative and request the Samsara integration.

   HDVI Support will configure the account.

4. Grant your HDVI contact Read only Admin access to the Samsara dashboard.
