Integrate with FLEETCOR

FLEETCOR is only available to US customers.

The Samsara integration with FLEETCOR enables you to add your fuel purchases from FLEETCOR-issued fuel cards such as Comdata into the Samsara Fuel Purchases Report automatically. The integration also enables Samsara to push vehicle location and fuel tank level data to FLEETCOR. By synchronizing the data, you can increase the reliability and accuracy of FLEETCOR fraud detection.

It takes approximately 5-10 business days to complete the integration setup. After the integration is complete, transactions are typically uploaded according to the data transmission frequency by FLEETCOR. In most cases, data is added daily; however, some accounts may upload data weekly on Thursdays.

Fuel purchase data made before the integration is completed will not be added automatically, however, you can manually upload fuel purchase data in CSV format.

To set up the integration:

1. Select the Settings icon ( ) at the bottom of your Fleet menu to view dashboard settings.

2. Select Fuel & Energy > Fuel Cards.

3. Select Get Started > Comdata|FLEETCOR.

   

4. Enter your FLEETCOR Account # or Account Code.

   The account is either an 8-digit or a 5-character alphanumeric code that you can find in the account settings page of the dashboard (iFleet for Fuelman Proprietary or Simple UI for Mastercard) or on your FLEETCOR invoice. The code most often follows one of these formats:

   • Two letters followed by three numbers (ex. AB123)

   • One letter, a dash, three numbers (ex. N-123)

   • Four letters and one number (ex. ABCD1)

   • Seven to eight letters and characters (ex. 1234567) [Fuelman accounts]

   If you see a code like AB123UN, ignore the last two letters and enter AB123. If you see a code like BGAB123, ignore the first two letters and enter AB123.

5. Enter your Bill Group # or Customer ID. You can also find this information on your FLEETCOR invoice.

   If you have multiple group numbers or customer IDs, enter only one and then contact Samsara support to enable the others.

6. Enter a Contact Email address.

7. Accept the Samsara Data Import & Sharing Addendum, and then proceed to the Next page.

   

8. Click Submit Waiver to open the Docusign for the FLEETCOR Data Waiver which allows FLEETCOR to send your fuel purchases to Samsara.

   

   1. Fill out Your Name and Your Email and then click BEGIN SIGNING to proceed to the FLEETCOR Data Waiver.

   2. Agree to the terms and then fill out the form fields.

   3. Click Finish when done.

      You can verify the status of your integration, edit, or remove your integration from the Fuel Cards tab of Fuel & Energy settings.
