DVIR is the US name for Walkaround Inspection in the UK.
You can keep track of work done on defects through per-defect mechanic notes.
Navigate to Maintenance > DVIR. Within each DVIR with defects, there is an option to add mechanic notes under each individual defect.
This functionality is also available through our maintenance API endpoint. Please visit developers.samsara.com for more details.
