Integrate with Precog

Instant, no-code data extraction from Samsara to select databases and dashboard applications.

The integration includes the following features:

• SQL-ready tables: Precog automatically creates the tables you need from Samsara source data. Tables can be edited or updated easily with zero coding.

• Load tables: Precog lets you load the SQL-ready tables to all popular data warehouse, database/data Lake, or business intelligence (BI) tools in a single click, and keeps the data up to date with the changes. You can also easily export comma-separated values (CSV) files or stream them to your BI tools.

For example, fleets that use Samsara and Precog have connected vehicle and driver hours data for reporting and performance metrics in outside systems. Learn more on the Precog website.

Requirements

• Precog: Enterprise or express subscription license

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read scope

Deployment

Precog built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. If there are any issues, please contact Precog Support.

1. Create a Read Samsara API Token named Precog Integration with read scopes for the specific categories required for the integration. If you aren't sure which scopes are required, check with your Precog representative.

   For more information on creating an API token, see Get Started with the Samsara API.

2. In Precog, add Samsara as a Precog source and enter the Samsara API Token as well as any integration parameters.
