After you integrate with a supported Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), you can track and monitor tire conditions across your fleet. Samsara displays current tire condition data in the vehicle and asset detail summaries, including tire pressure monitoring graph, a maintenance overview, and any associated alerts.

After you integrate your TPMS with Samsara, tire condition details are visible in the details for vehicles in your fleet. To view the details for a vehicle, select the vehicle from the Samsara dashboard in Overview () > Assets. The Tire Condition will appear under the Sensors section.
The Tire Condition displays the most recent tire condition reported. The number of tires associated with the assets are reported underneath Tire Condition. In the example above, there is one tire with extreme under pressure reported.
Select the diagram under the Sensors section to display a detailed visual representation of the asset. The visual representation of the asset is also accessible by clicking on the status link located at the right of the asset Tire Condition under the Sensors section.
When you hover over a tile in the detailed visual representation (the tiles represent tire positioning on an asset), you can view the following data:

Axle number: Axle 1, Axle 2, etc

Tire position: Right Outer, Left Inner, etc

Timestamp of last received sensor data

Tire condition: Normal, Critical, etc

Pressure: Current or last received value

Set Point: Current or last received value

Temperature: Current or last received value
The panel that displays when hovering over the tires also shows each of the tires in their intended configuration and the associated PSI and temperature for each individual tire. To inspect the recent history of the tire pressure, you can click on the sparkline to the right of Tire Condition.
After you select the sparkline, an overlay graph displays above the map. You can select individual or multiple tires to view at the same time and can hover over the graph to view time-specific values for pressure, pressure set point, and temperature. As you hover over specific areas of the graph, the asset location on the map adjusts to indicate its recorded location during that time frame.
This data on the graph is also exportable. Select the Download CSV option at the bottom right hand corner of the graph, to download pressure, pressure set point, and temperature data from one or more tires. The file will include information for all selected tires for the specified time range.
To monitor the condition of tires on vehicles or assets in your fleet, view the Maintenance > Tire Condition page.
At the top, you can view the Overall asset tire status which displays the distribution of tire conditions across the fleet. The donut graph on the left also highlights the most reported tire status.
Below the Overall asset tire status, you can view tire status information for individual assets. To find specific assets, you can filter by Tags, Asset Type, or Tire Status. You can also Search for assets by a full or partial name.

To view additional information about an asset, select an asset in the table. The row expands to display axle, tire position, pressure, set point, temperature, and tire statuses for all tires attached to the asset. You can also optionally Expand All rows or Collapse All rows using the toggles at the top of the table.
Should you need to export tire condition details for your assets, you can use either of the following options from the more actions menu ( ... ) in the top right corner:

Export to CSV: Outputs a comma-separated values (CSV) file that contains the following fields for all tires in the current view, applying any filter set: Asset, Current Location, Current Driver, Axle, Tire Position, Pressure (PSI), Set Point (PSI), Temperature (F), Tire Status

Print: Output a printer-friendly version of the report currently in view. For example:
You can set up alerts to receive notifications for any tire condition. Alerts can be set for specific tire conditions and/or for alerts with a certain level of criticality (cautionary/critical). During configuration, you select the Tire Fault Code alert type, and then choose the alert provider, one or more specific fault codes, and the alert source (all assets, specific assets, or specific tags).

The alert will trigger if the tire condition reported by the TPMS holds for a specified amount of time. After the alert triggers, Samsara sends a text/email alert to the contact set in the alert.
The alert contains the affected tire and the specific fault codes associated with the report. Here’s an example email alert:
