In-cab voice coaching alerts for the CM31 and CM32 Dash Cams provide your drivers with immediate feedback to correct speeding violations while driving on roads with different speed limits. Real-time speeding notifications lead to overall reduction in unsafe behaviors and an increase in fuel savings: Speeding drivers have a highway MPG that is 2.7% lower than all other drivers.
After you enable in-cab speeding alerts, when the vehicle has exceeded the speed limit for at least 20 seconds, the CM31 or CM32 device will play this sound which repeats every 10 seconds until the vehicle reduces to a speed below the threshold. The in-cab voice coach alerts the driver if the vehicle speed is above a set speed (mph) or percentage above the posted speed limit. For more information about speeding, see Driver Speeding and Speed Limits.
