Integrate with Penske Data Platform

Unlock Penske’s remote and proactive diagnostics and enhanced preventive maintenance with the Penske Data Platform integration.

The integration includes the following features:

• Sync vehicle telematics data from Samsara for expedited roadside assistance. Equip Penske’s 24/7 Roadside Assistance team with real-time data to locate and remotely diagnose issues to get your vehicle back on the road faster.

• Activate proactive diagnostic alerts. Vehicle data is combined with Penske maintenance expertise to identify potential issues and proactively alert you to schedule your vehicle for service – helping to avoid unplanned downtime.

• Enhance maintenance schedules: Unit odometer readings combined with unique vehicle trends lead to a more customized Dynamic PM®️ service - that’s intelligent maintenance.

• Penske: None

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read scope

Deployment

Penske built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please contact Penske Support.

1. In your Samsara dashboard, navigate to Settings > Apps.

2. Search for and then select Penske Data Platform to install the app.

   Samsara generates an API token with the appropriate scopes.

3. Send the token to your Penske representative and request the Samsara integration.

   Penske Support will configure the account and guide you through any remaining steps to enable the integration.
