Integrate with MoveDesk

MoveDesk integrates with Samsara to provide vehicle insight and route management for carriers in moving and storage.

The integration includes the following features:

• Sync vehicle location and driver hours of service with MoveDesk

• Send routes from MoveDesk to Samsara; edit and delete routes when needed

• Monitor vehicle warnings (like check engine light on) and pull other vehicle maintenance stats into MoveDesk

Requirements

• MoveDesk: None

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read scope

Deployment

MoveDesk built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. If there are any issues, please contact MoveDesk Support.

1. Create a Read Samsara API Token named MoveDesk Integration with read scopes for the specific categories required for the integration. If you aren't sure which scopes are required, check with your MoveDesk representative.

   For more information on creating an API token, see Get Started with the Samsara API.

2. Enter your Samsara API Token in MoveDesk.

   1. Log into MoveDesk (https://app.movedesk.com/) as an Administrator.

   2. Navigate to MoveDesk Settings > Integrations > Samsara and enter the Samsara API Token.
