Integrate with FASTER Web

Provide on-demand updates for business intelligence by integrating telematics data from Samsara into FASTER Web.

The integration includes the following features:

• Sync vehicle and equipment from Samsara with FASTER for fleet management

• Real-time engine fault code monitoring via webhook alert, plus vehicle odometer and engine hours tracking

• Ability to automate data refresh versus manual execution

Requirements

• FASTER Asset Solutions: FASTER Web 7.5.1 or later

• Samsara: API access with Read permissions

  Also requires a webhook for FASTER (for vehicle fault codes)

Deployment

FASTER built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please contact FASTER Support.

1. In your Samsara dashboard, navigate to Settings > Apps.

2. Search for and then select FASTER Web to install the app.

   Samsara generates an API token with the appropriate scopes.

3. Send the API token to FASTER ([e-mail]) and request the Samsara integration.

   FASTER Support will also help you configure the webhook in Samsara for vehicle fault codes.
