Integrate with Trimble MAPS Appian

Give Fleet users an integrated end-to-end workflow with the Appian DRTrack integration to Samsara, from route building/optimization through dispatch to the Samsara Driver App through planned vs. actual visibility.

The integration includes the following features:

• Dispatch Appian DRTrack routes directly to drivers on the Samsara Driver App mobile device; supports Fixed, Dynamic, and skeletal route structures, bulk or individual route sync

• Enterprise wide visibility in Appian DRTrack using Samsara GPS for vehicle location data; schedules update automatically based on real-time Samsara feed; planned vs. actual visibility

• Sync forms in Appian DRTrack as Samsara documents; view completed forms in the Appian DRTrack dispatch platform

Requirements

• Appian DRTrack: DRTrack version 2021.1.1 or later and hosted in the Trimble MAPS public cloud host

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read scope

Deployment

Trimble MAPS built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please contact Trimble MAPS Support.

1. Create a Samsara API Token named Trimble MAPS Integration with read scopes for the specific categories required for the integration. If you aren't sure which scopes are required, check with your Trimble MAPS representative.

2. Send the token to your Trimble MAPS representative and request the Samsara integration.

   Trimble MAPS DevOps will configure the account.
