Devices Dashboard

To use the Devices Dashboard, you must have enrolled your organization with Samsara mobile device management and provisioned your managed devices.

To easily identify and manage enrolled mobile devices, you can use the Devices Dashboard in Samsara. The dashboard provides key information to help you manage policy updates and device deployments.

To access the dashboard, select MEM Overview > Mobile Devices. For each device, the dashboard provides the following information:

Field	Description
Mobile Device Name	Descriptive name of the device.
IMEI	Additional device identifier.
Samsara Agent App ID	Unique ID assigned to the Samsara Agent. You can find the Agent ID for a device in the top left of the Samsara Agent installed on the device.
Mobile Device Model	Hardware model of the Android device.
Software Version	Software version running on the Android device.
Policy	Active policy on the device and the time at which the device last synchronized the policy with the Samsara Cloud.

When you need to investigate or track down a specific device, the dashboard also provides easy ways for you to Search and filter for the specific devices and take quick action.

From the action menu (...) for a device, you can further manage the devices in the following ways.

• Edit: Edit the descriptive name. For example, this can be helpful if you want to associate the device with a particular driver or vehicle.

• Assign Device to Policy: If you need to assign a policy that is different than the current policy on the device, Change the Device Policy.

• Lock Device: If the device is missing or in an unexpected location, you can Lock a Managed Device.

• Factory Reset: If the device needs to be wiped, you can Perform a Factory Reset on a Managed Device.

• Restart Device: If you need to restart a device remotely, you can Restart a Managed Device.

• Start Remote Support Session: If you need to take control over or view the screen of a managed device, Remotely View and Control a Managed Device.

• Download CSV: For offline or archival purposes, you can export all mobile devices including all fields in the table, to a comma-separated values (CSV) file.
