The Samsara Camera Connector (ACC-CM-ANLG) allows you to expand your current Samsara Dash Cam configuration to connect up to four compatible third-party cameras to your Samsara dashboard.
After you complete the hardware installation of the camera connector for Third-Party Camera Integration Using the Standard Samsara Camera Connector and enable Attributes, use the workflow below to enable the Camera Connector functionality in the Samsara dashboard:

Select the Settings icon (
) at the bottom of your Fleet menu to view dashboard settings.

Within Organization, select Tags & Attributes > Attributes > Asset.
Attributes settings are currently in Beta. For more information, see Attributes.

Depending on how your third-party camera is wired, the camera connector captures footage either when the vehicle ignition is on or when the vehicle is in reverse. Select more actions (...) > Add Assets next to either Ignition On or Reverse Only installation type based on your vehicle installation.

Select the assets that match the selected installation type.

Select Done .

(Optional) To assign or modify additional assets using either installation type, select the installation type Ignition On or Reverse Only and modify the assets to associate with the installation type. Select Done to confirm the assignment.

Select Save.

Note
Calibration is available for Samsara Dash Cams only. Calibration of third-party cameras is not supported.
